
King George V Dock (KGV) in Glasgow is the main port for both Glasgow and the west of Scotland, and is ideally placed for rapid transit of goods – either by road or rail - to and from the west coast, central belt and beyond.
KGV handles a wide range of international cargoes, including animal feeds, grain, and other dry bulk cargoes, aggregates, timber, glass products, wind farm and specialised project cargoes. The port offers excellent facilities and has extensive shed accommodation, large paved and hard standing areas for marshalling or expansion, and a comprehensive range of handling equipment.
